Kensho Diamond leveling plate (fine grid)

This diamond sharpening stone is used to maintain the flatness of your sharpening stones.

By creating wider grooves on the surface, compared to conventional products, it reduces sticking because mud. The reduced contact area of the diamond cut shape design  improves the gliding feel, allowing you to work the surface with less force.

This is for use with finishing natural and man made sharpening stones. It features a fine grit (#600) attached to a custom-made aluminum base. The aluminum base offers higher flatness accuracy than existing models. Its increased thickness makes it resistant to bending, and its weight makes flattening process easier.

This is an essential item for sharpening both synthetic and natural sharpening stones, and for those who want to sharpen properly, it's a tool we recommend prioritizing over sharpening stones themselves.

Please use replacement plates when the sharpening power decreases and work efficiency worsens.

*Although diamond is used, the sharpening power will inevitably decrease and deteriorate as it grinds down the whetstone, which is a mass of abrasive.

*The aluminum base may deform if subjected to impact or heat.
